Holocaust Awareness Poll

Curia did a poll for the Auckland Holocaust Memorial Trust on Holocaust Awareness in New Zealand. The full results are below.
Holocaust Awareness Poll Results July 2019
Key findings were:
- Only 43% of New Zealanders said they know a reasonable amount or a lot about the Holocaust
- 4% of New Zealanders think the Holocaust is a myth or has been exaggerated
- 30% of New Zealanders are unsure if the Holocaust is a myth or has been exaggerated.
- Only 43% of New Zealanders knew that the number of European Jews killed in the Holocaust was around six million

Superannuation poll
May 15, 2018
Research Now did a poll on Superannuation. Some findings:
- 54% (-6% from 2014) think Super should be universal and 33% (nc) targeted
- 33% support increasing the age of super, 52% oppose
- 11% support lowering the level of super, 76% oppose
- 34% support inflation indexing super only, 43% oppose
- 44% support means testing, 40% oppose
- 40% support increasing taxes to fund super, 40% oppose
- 34% support replacing super with Kiwisaver, 39% oppose

Abortion poll
February 8, 2018
A Curia poll for Family First found:
- 52% generally support abortion and 29% oppose
- 65% think society should work to reduce the level of abortions and 17% disagree
- 86% support registration for abortion providers and premises, 8% opposed
- 36% were unsure on what time limit should apply for abortions. 50% support 15 weeks or less.
- 90% oppose abortions based on the sex of the child
- 49% support women being able to have an abortion because they don’t want to be a mother with 38% opposed
- 76% support doctors being required to ascertain a women is not under pressure from a third party to have an abortion, with 8% opposed
